Call Centre Campaign The ASU has launched a new campaign to improve Australia's call centres for those working in the industry. The call centre industry is a major employer in Australia and an integral part of our nation's economy. Your Rights at Work
Rights on Site is a campaign for the 900,000 construction workers across Australia who do not have the same rights in their workplace as all other Australian workers.The campaign is focussed on having the Australian Building and Construction Commission (ABCC) abolished. The ABCC which was set up by the Howard Government in 2005.The ASU is also concerned because the ABCC's activities can reach into industries beyond construction, such as aviation and clerical.
