As most of you would be aware ASU Delegate Phyllis Fawcus has now moved over to the Customer Service Centre at Lorimer Street and will remain the delegate for the Customer Service Centre. As a result the ASU is now seeking to appoint a Delegate to fill the position vacated by Phyllis at the City office.

 

Following on from our meetings of all staff to gain your input into what staff want to see either changed or added in the current EBA, the ASU and your Delegates have now formulated your “Log of Claims”.

The ASU and your Delegates then met with the Company on Friday the 5th of March for the first EBA Negotiation meeting. At this meeting the ASU tabled the “Log of Claims” to Transurban Management. In response the Company also table their own “Log of Claims”. For more information download the bulletin.

We are about to start the EBA negotiations at Transurban. By taking a few minutes to fill out this survey we will have some clear direction as to what you think is important.

As you are aware your EBA at Transurban is now up for re-negotiation.

This round of EBA negotiations may be harder than previous times given the changes to the workplace laws. The laws make it much easier for companies to take away rights and conditions.
