The ASU and your Delegates have met with CHUBB management twice now to progress the negotiations for your new EBA that expires on the 28th of February 2008.

The EBA currently covering staff at Chubb Kensington and Geelong is due to expire on the 28th of February 2008.
The EBA gives us the ability to commence negotiations 3 months prior to the current EBA’s expiry date.
Both the ASU and your Delegates are keen to have the new EBA inplace ready to commence at the expiry of the current EBA.
In order to prepare for the next round of EBA negotiation the ASU and your Delegates are now asking for your input into the changes you are seeking to the current EBA.

The ASU and your Delegates are launching EBA Survey. The details are as follows:
Tuesday the 9th of December.
Between 12pm and 2.30pm
and for late shift between
5.30pm.
When the last EBA was negotiated it was decided by both CHUBB Management and the ASU that in the interest of getting the EBA through quickly prior to the Workchoices Legislation being enacted, that we would adopt the gradings and classifications from the Clerical and Administrative Award.
The ASU and your Delegates will be hosting a Members Services afternoon.
